New Weekly Bible Study (Wednesdays) “The Works of the Holy Spirit” Home of Debbie Elliott 1025 Bridle Lane, Helena, Al. 35080 9:30 a.m. Contact: Debbie Elliot (205) 612-4073 This study is also offered on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in room 203 The Women's Ministry is offering a six week Art Class called In Principio (In the Beginning). The class is for beginners and will incorporate sketching, painting, pastels, and other mediums. It will meet weekly (Mondays) starting February 13th in room 203 from 9:30 - 10:30. Join us on Sunday Evenings for a Women’s Prayer Study and Group in the ladies’ parlor. This group normally meets at 5:00 p.m. but will meet today at 4:00 p.m. because of the Hymn Sing. This is a study on the practice and purpose of prayer through the prayers of Jesus, Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Elijah, David, and Paul. Dark Clouds-Deep Mercy A new Thursday morning women’s Bible study will begin on Thursday, February 2. The focus of this study is to “restore the lost art of lament”. The goal of this study is to help people discover the power of wrestling with questions that come with suffering or grief. We will have Coffee and Conversation from 8:00-8:30 a.m. and begin the Bible study at 8:30 a.m. in the church library. A nursery is available by reservation; please RSVP the previous Tuesday by 5:00 p.m. to nursery@evangelchurchpca.org. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) meets the first Monday of each month during the school year from 6:15—8:30 p.m. in one of the quads. Childcare is available by reservation.
