MomCo
This group is designed for Mom’s of preschoolers with the purpose of providing fellowship, mentorship, and encouragement. Join us on the first Monday of each month for dinner and a discussion of topics related to the season of life.
Friday Lunch Bunch
Join us on the 4th Friday of each month for unique lunch outings in the area. We love to explore new places and find restaurants and shops off the beaten path. If you’re up for a little adventure and a whole lot of fun, this is the group for you!
Seasoned Sisterhood Fellowship
This group is made up of mature women who enjoy friendship, laughter, and shared experiences. We get together for movies, lunch or dinner, and other fun outings. It’s a time to connect, encourage one another, and celebrate the joy of fellowship.
Trailblazers
Do you love hiking or interested in getting started? If so, this is the place for you. Join us for hikes ranging from 3–10 miles at local parks and trails.
Courtside Sisters
Love pickleball? So do we! This casual group connects women for fun, fellowship, and a little friendly competition. No set schedule–group members simply message when they are up for a game. All are welcome, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player.
Evangel Ladies Book Club
Dive into books that inspire and spark conversation with other women in our church. We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at the home of Betty Harris, to discuss, reflect, and enjoy fellowship.
Off The Clock
Life is full, but connection matters. Off the Clock is a monthly evening gathering for women whose days are busy–working women, homeschool moms, or those with other daytime commitments. Geared toward women in their 30s–50s, but open to all. Join us for food and fun as we build faith-based friendships. Relax. Connect. Unwind.
Crocheting Group
Ladies in our church gather most Tuesdays to crochet hats and scarves for children of the Alabama Baptist Home. This group also makes "octopuses" for NICU babies to prevent them from pulling on tubes.
Hospitality Helps
We meet quarterly to enjoy fellowship and explore new ways to practice hospitality. From crafting to learning new recipes, this class is a fun way to connect with other women while engaging in hands-on projects.

MomCo: A Community for Mothers of Preschoolers
Evangel has a Mom Community group just for you! MomCo is currently taking a break for the summer, but our monthly evening meetings will resume on Monday, September 14. Be on the lookout for more information about the upcoming MomCo year—we can’t wait to gather again!
Evangel Ladies’ Book Club
kicked off its fall season on Tuesday, September 8, at 9:30 a.m. at the home of Betty Harris, located at 821 Maplewood Trail in Alabaster. -- Our book for discussion is The Boys in the Light by Nina Willner.-- If you have questions, call or text Debbie Marvin at (205) 492-2081.
Bible Study- Tuesdays -Romans: Bible Study Fellowship
Romans speaks to our deepest struggles and leads us straight to God’s grace. It offers real hope for real life, reminding believers that the God who saves also transforms us day by day, from the inside out. Join BSF as we discover how God moves us from striving to surrender, performance to peace, fear to faith, and guilt to grace.-- beginning September 15 at 6:30 p.m. For more information, contact Jeanette Thompson at (205) 531-6073.
Bible Study-The Book of James
Join us as we explore how James echoes the teachings of Jesus, especially His Sermon on the Mount. James has often been called the Proverbs of the New Testament because of their similar themes and ideas. Through vivid imagery and the language of nature, James beautifully reminds us that the Old and New Testaments are one unified story.
