Faith Promise is Evangel’s means of funding World Missions

As I  put my Faith in God’s Promise, He enables me  to meet the commitment He has led me to make.
Faith Promise is an agreement between you and God. It is a promise to God that as He enables,
you will give the amount you have pledged to Missions.

Online Pledge Card
Give to Faith Promise

Evangel provides pledge cards that are  turned in over the weeks
before and after our annual Missions Conference. (As you are able to give  throughout the  year to missions according to this pledge, the amount given should be designated "Faith Promise.”)

Is Faith Promise Scriptural?

2 Corinthians chapters 8 and 9 show the principle of Faith Promise. 2 Cor. 8:3- “For I testify that they gave as much as they were able” (Tithes and Offerings) and even beyond their ability (Faith Promise).  Giving beyond our ability refers to looking to God in Faith for the way in which He will enable us to give beyond what we know we can.  [other scripture references: Luke 6:38; Mal. 3:10; 2 Chronicles  9:6, 2 Chronicles 29:14, 16; Ps.  37:5;]

Is this Faith Promise a pledge to the church I will have to keep?  Will I be contacted if I fall behind?

Your Faith Promise is between you and the Lord. You will
not be contacted if you fall behind. This is not a pledge that you are making to Evangel- it is a commitment to Christ and to World
Missions.

Should I cut back on my regular tithing to increase my missions giving?

Operating costs for the church will not decrease, but will actually rise along with the rising cost of living. Regular giving should continue as  usual.

Should I limit my  Faith Promise to what I know will be possible for me to  give?

No, Faith Promise is about relying in God’s unlimited resources… Ask Him for a specific amount. Don’t only promise what you know you are able to give, but promise what you can give plus what you must trust God to provide above and beyond.

Pray about what you would like to pledge to God to provide through you for the work of World Missions. A Faith Promise is a faith commitment.

Promise what you believe God wants to give through you. Then trust God to be faithful in  this promise.

 Why give to  World Missions?

When we invest in spreading God's  Word we invest in the souls of men, women, and children who will come to Christ and be used of God to glorify His great name.

We are to pray and ask God to give us a heart that finds great joy in giving in order to build His kingdom here and around the world.

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach
the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15
